15 OCTOBER 2018

To celebrate Chopard’s Happy Sport 25th anniversary, the Maison invites you to the Chopard boutique at Selfridges to admire a unique retrospective of the most iconic Happy Sport floating diamonds watch models created since 1993 by Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Creative Director, and to discover the novelties of the collection. Visit the boutique and spin the Chopard “Happy Wheel” for a chance to win a surprise luxury gift, and fill a candy bag with your selection of delicious, happy treats. Now through November 2nd.
To mark the special occasion, the Maison has designed two special edition Happy Sport diamond watches for women exclusive to Selfridges. The limited edition designs play the two-tone identity with a 36mm case in 18ct rose gold and steel with either a polished or diamond-set bezel. Spinning round in the heart of this joyful watch are two dancing diamonds along with four dancing sapphires in two different shades of blue which match the delicate mother of pearl dial. These luxury watches for women, proposed on a blue leather strap, are limited to 10 for the diamond-set version and to 25 for the polished interpretation.

In 1993, closely in touch with the mood of the moment, Chopard Co-President and Artistic Director Caroline Scheufele dreamed up a luxury sports watch based on what was at the time an original and surprising association between steel and diamonds. Since then, Happy Sport diamond watch has been celebrating a Joie de Vivre daily reinvented by women in conquering the place they wish to hold and the life they wish to lead. Having appeared in countless different versions, it has thus become the first women’s collectible floating diamond watch: overturning our traditional relationship with time, it is no longer worn merely to tell the time, instead offering a chance to enjoy the marvellous sight of joyful dancing diamonds. An endless performance of ballet dancers spinning on the wrist.
