L.U.C XPS Poinçon de Genève – A Geneva timepiece

On the occasion of the reopening of our Boutique on the Rue du Rhône in Geneva, we are pleased to present a new interpretation of the L.U.C XPS Poinçon de Genève watch. Made in platinum and featuring a midnight blue dial, this ultra-thin model is produced in a 25-piece limited edition and complies with the criteria of the excellence of Genevan watchmaking since 1886.

This elegant platinum timepiece features a blue sunburst satin-brushed dial bearing the “Poinçon de Genève” logo at 12 o’clock. The L.U.C XPS Poinçon de Genève is equipped with the in-house L.U.C Calibre 96.01-L and is certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).

Passion and innovation are the hallmarks of Chopard’s philosophy, reflected in each unique creation of the L.U.C collection. The entire watch production operations from the movement development, design of the finished product, stamping and machining of cases, movement parts and bracelets, traditional hand-crafted decorations, surface treatments, polishing, assembly, until the adjustment and quality control, is fully mastered in-house by our artisans in Meyrin and Fleurier.

To further personalise this platinum limited edition of the L.U.C XPS, the case-back of each model has been individually hand-engraved with the “Poinçon de Genève” logo. Created back in 1886, the Poinçon de Genève or Geneva Quality Hallmark, guarantees an exceptional standard of quality by requiring manufacturers wishing to stamp it on their timepieces to comply with very strict rules.
