Chopard’s Temptations – Sweet delights

Temptations, the new collection of deliciously colourful Haute Joaillerie by Chopard, “demystifies” luxury and states the brand’s free-spirited and original approach. Catering to the most varied tastes and living her passion to the fullest, Caroline Scheufele, Chopard Co-President and Creative Director, simply loves to defy conventions, to play with forbidden fruits and to make materials, trends and shades mingle.

Building on its mastery of the art of jewellery making and leaving conventions aside, Chopard presents a mouth-watering ‘buffet’ of precious sweet treats. The rings, earrings and necklaces are crafted in sovereign precious stones, and other gems also sparkle and shine: rubellites, kunzites, tsavorites, amethysts and Paraiba tourmalines complement diamonds, emeralds and sapphires.

Defying the generally sober style of the winter months, colour is the star of the collection. The pear shape appears in various guises such as a dewdrop, a sun-ripened fruit or a petal. Giving free rein to the imagination, it can be interpreted as a twist on the tale of the forbidden fruit.

The Chopard Temptations collection embodies a new conception of relaxed and casual luxury: Haute Joaillerie creations that you love to wear for the sheer pleasure of this unique epicurean experience. “The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it”, said Oscar Wilde.

The Temptations collection is sold exclusively at Chopard Boutiques around the world.
