Launch of the Happy Mickey Collection

Caroline Scheufele, Co-President of Chopard, chose the unusual setting of the Electric Cinema in Notting Hill to unveil the new Happy Mickey Collection. On Thursday October 6, guests discovered the delightful pieces of jewellery and watches during the afternoon of fun for adults and kids.

Chopard, known for its close links with the world of cinema and being an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival, hosted a truly magical event at the legendary cinema on Portobello Road, London. Caroline Scheufele, a passionate cinema enthusiast, was proud to introduce this new collection featuring one of the most iconic characters – Mickey Mouse!!

Guests, who included parents and their kids, enjoyed a special Disney animation screening of Mickey Mouse vintage black and white cartoon shorts in the cinema, to re-discover the legend of the renowned mouse. Among them were: Alexa Chung, Eva Herzigova and her son George, Camilla Rutherford, Donna Air and Jemma Kidd.

After the screening, adults and kids discovered the collection of watches and jewellery, beautifully displayed among Mickey Mouse archives prints and figurines in the private rooms of the Electric Club. Champagne and cupcakes were served, while children enjoyed milkshakes and a giant brownie cake in the shape of Mickey Mouse. Youngsters enjoyed Mickey-themed activities, among which was an artist from the Disney Studio who taught the secrets of sketching Mickey Mouse.

The Happy Mickey Collection offers a broad range of fresh and colourful creations such as necklaces, pendants, earrings, bracelets and the iconic Happy Sport watches crafted in white or rose gold. The extremely varied jewellery models humorously and subtly emphasise Mickey’s most singular characteristics. This range is available exclusively in Chopard Boutiques around the world.
