As a “jeweller” member of the Fédération Française de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, Chopard regularly presents its High Jewellery creations at the Paris Couture Week. For the second consecutive edition, it is associating with the Maison Giambattista Valli by agreeing to adorn its Haute Couture 16 collection with splendid jewellery sets.
Following the success of the first collaborative endeavour undertaken at the Paris Couture Week in July 2018, the Maison Giambattista Valli once again invited Chopard’s co-president and artistic director Caroline Scheufele to illuminate its Haute Couture 16 show with her latest High Jewellery creations. This collaboration highlights the natural affinities between the artistic crafts involved in Haute Couture and High Jewellery namely the same artistic momentum, free-spirited attitude, artisanal approach and unswerving commitment to perfection.
The array of creations chosen by the Maison Giambattista Valli to enhance the beauty of its Haute Couture 16 collection notably includes pieces from the latest High Jewellery collection to have sprung from the innovative spirit and brilliance of the Chopard ateliers: Magical Setting. On show for the first time during this Paris Couture Week, the collection’s approach to colour and its incomparable allure enables it to offer a range of classically elegant jewellery. The dramatic light show performed by the jewels is achieved by an innovative setting technique, painstakingly developed by Chopard’s master artisans, and inspired by Caroline Scheufele’s long-cherished dream of intensifying the life and light of a gemstone, while enhancing the presence and personality of the jewel.
