The universe has always been a source of fascination for mankind. Orbiting around the earth, the moon has a powerful allure. This limited edition (100) L.U.C Lunar One in platinum with a blue dial possesses a perpetual calendar with an orbital moon-phase display. The moon orbits the small seconds axis on a subdial, conveying all the poetry of the starry heavens. Beneath the blue sunburst satin-brushed dial beats a chronometer-certified L.U.C Calibre 96.13-L with the Poinçon de Genève.
Entirely developed, produced and assembled in the Chopard High Watchmaking workshops, the self-winding mechanical L.U.C 96.13-L calibre nestled at the heart of the L.U.C Lunar One timepiece features a power reserve of approximately 65 hours (Chopard Twin technology). A COSC-certified chronometer bearing the Geneva Seal, it indicates the hours and minutes, with the small seconds and moon phases at 6 o’clock, a perpetual calendar with a large date in a double counter at 12 o’clock, the days of the week and the 24-hour indication at 9 o’clock, and the months and leap years at 3 o’clock.
