More Information
Entirely developed, produced and assembled in the Chopard High Watchmaking workshops, the ultra-slim L.U.C 96-17-S calibre, the first skeletonised movement by the Chopard Manufacture, combines technical sophistication with refined elegance. This self-wound mechanical movement beats to a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and possesses a 65-hour power reserve thanks to Twin technology, a system patented by Chopard combining two coaxial barrels, a particularly remarkable technical achievement in view of the extreme slenderness of the movement at just 3.3 mm of thickness. Its baseplate, decorated with the Geneva Seal pattern on the dial side, and its bridges are meticulously openworked to reveal the heart of the movement. Its internal components are rhodium-plated, creating a contrast that cleverly brings attention to the gold-plated cogwheels visible on the dial side and through the caseback.
