Franchised Boutique Operations Manager, Wholesale
Mission of Job
Responsible for all Franchised Boutiques Business and Management. Get the directives from HQ and implement the guidelines locally by collaborating closely with the Sales Managers and Retailers.
Intervene locally as a retail expert to enhance sales performance of franchised boutiques and increase the standards in terms of quality on all aspects of Chopard “Passion for excellence”. Such intervention is combined with CRM activities. (exhibition / VIP dinner, etc…)
Boost Franchised boutique performances
Give support and training in the different areas of expertise:
Technical training on all Chopard product segment,
Merchandising (core ranges),
Visual Merchandising / zoning.
Set up a specific action plan for each franchised boutique visited
I) Intervention preparation and planning
Review with the Sales Manager the existing situation based on:
Team members profile
Sell-out performance over the last three years with detail per product segment
Stock analysis (core range and exceptional pieces) per product segment
Activity plan for the year / budget
Boutique zoning (involve the decoration department if needed)
Past visit report in sales force
Mystery shopping past results and action plan
Ahead of each visit:
Set concrete objectives, and establish a detailed planning
Share objectives and planning with the partner representative / franchised boutique manager
II) Franchised boutique visits
Regular visit / field coaching with a period of 2-3day of each boutique to enable a detailed review and improvement of each operational point. Getting to know each staff is also crucial to understand the lever to boost the performance
Ensure that all aspects of the Boutique Charter are known from all staff and respected (from staff uniform and grooming to all steps of the Chopard Sales Ritual)
Review and improve the daily operation process
Support for the new boutique opening
Customer Relationship Management
Review with the partner their existing database and its segmentation.
Review the client data acquisition tactic on the sales floor.
Organize two types of trainings:
Product training (existing products, on-going)
Sales technique training
Ensure that the boutique portal and PSP are accessible, trained, understood and actively used by all staff
Review with the team the decoration and zoning guidelines and ensure together with the team a perfect implementation
Finally, create with the boutique manager an action plan for each staff (area of the sales ritual to specifically work on) to be reviewed after one month and three months. This will be shared with the Sales Manager to ensure a lasting implementation and stored in salesforce.
III) Support Chopard main events
Support the Chopard team for Corporate / Cooperate Events e.g. Cannes
Degree holder with minimum 8 years' relevant experience with at least 3 years in retail management
Change management experience preferred
Experience in luxury brands and retail operations preferred
Sound knowledge in watch / jewellery is a must
Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial sense
Sharp leadership and people management skills
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
Good analytical, organization and problem solving skills
Proficiency in computer literacy, especially MS Excel and CRM system
Highly-motivated and self-starter
Independent, reliable and adaptable
Language: Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin
Frequent travel is required
