CONTRIBUTING TO A BETTER WORLD

PHILANTHROPIC VENTURES

At Chopard, we have always regarded self-giving and generosity as core-values. We align the value of luxury goods to the wellbeing of people and the planet and therefore support several non-profit organisations by donating a percentage of sales proceeds from special editions of our iconic creations.

EDUCATION
ABOVE ALL

Education Above All Foundation: The Foundation, set up in 2012 by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, aims to sustainably improve human, social and economic conditions worldwide through education. In this range, the Happy Hearts bracelets come in 18-carat rose or white gold, and feature a heart enclosing a dancing diamond and a circle with an “Educate a Child” charm, facing each other in an elegant “pas de deux”. At Chopard, we have specifically chosen to back the “Educate a Child” programme, which aims to facilitate children’s access to school in geographical locations most threatened by poverty, environmental factors, cultural barriers or conflicts.

THE NAKED HEART
FOUNDATION

The Naked Heart Foundation : We have also crafted a special edition of the Happy Hearts bangle adorned with a pink mother-of-pearl heart, from which a percentage of all sales proceeds goes to The Naked Heart Foundation, an organisation dedicated to helping children with special needs. Set up in 2004 by supermodel and philanthropist Natalia Vodianova, the charity’s main mission is to help build an inclusive society that is open to people with disabilities and special needs, through encouraging play and the creation of free support services for affected families. The foundation supports a range of smaller Russian NGOs focused on children with special needs, as well as running family support centres, training teachers of special schools and nurseries to use modern technologies for working with children with autism, along with organising integrative summer camps for children with special needs and their parents.

JOSÉ CARRERAS

Through the sale of our earmarked L.U.C XP watches, our partnership with the Jose Carreras Leukemia Foundation continues to hold strong and continuing to support the treatment opportunities for leukemia.

In July 1988, one year after winning his battle against leukemia, the world-famous tenor José Carreras set up a foundation to support research and promising scientific projects to treating leukemia. The Foundation also helps to improve treatment opportunities and increase the number of hospital units that are equipped to perform bone marrow transplants. 1996 was the launch year of the José Carreras watch collection- the first limited editions bore engravings of various opera houses around the world on the case-back.
