With the new L.U.C Flying T Twin Baguette timepiece, Chopard presents a new watch featuring its new flying tourbillon movement. As technically advanced as it is esthetically pleasing, the piece is also distinctive for its remarkable allure: a hand-guillochéd gold dial, impeccable proportions and an ultra-slim platinum case set with baguette-cut diamonds make this an exceptional piece for the L.U.C collection. This exceedingly refined limited series of just 10 pieces, designed for contemporary gentlemen connoisseurs of beautiful watches, is certified by the Geneva Seal.
Entirely developed, produced and assembled in Chopard’s Fine Watchmaking workshops and certified as a chronometer by the COSC, the L.U.C 96.24-L self-winding mechanical movement is the first self-winding flying tourbillon caliber to be developed by the Chopard Manufacture. It oscillates at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour (3.5 Hz) and offers a 65-hour power reserve thanks to Twin technology: a patented Chopard system that combines two coaxial barrels, a particularly remarkable feat given the movement’s extreme thinness at just 3.3 mm thick. Benefiting from Poinçon de Genève certification, this movement is wound by a 22K gold micro-rotor.
