Alpine Eagle 36
Ref. Number:
298601-3012
Chopard’s sporty Alpine Eagle collection welcomes a new 36 mm model crafted in Lucent Steel™ and featuring a ‘Rhone Blue’ dial. Inspired by the beauty of the eagle’s natural habitat, this creation symbolises Chopard’s ongoing support of the Alpine Eagle Foundation.
The color of the dial is reminiscent of one of the most iconic rivers of the Alpine massif: the Rhone. This emblematic river begins its journey in natural blue tones in the Swiss glacier of the same name, located in the heart of the canton of Valais—an environment home to several eagle species—before feeding the waters of Lake Geneva and eventually flowing into the Mediterranean Sea.
The radiant texture of the dial echoes the iris of an eagle, while Super-LumiNova® coated hands and hour markers ensure perfect readability under all conditions.
The bezel is secured by eight indexed screws, an aesthetic and technical signature that reinforces the watch’s 100-meter water resistance. The integrated bracelet, composed of a wide ingot-shaped link topped with a polished central cap, further expresses the sporty yet refined character of the timepiece.
At the heart of the watch beats an automatic movement developed and produced in-house, the Chopard 09.01‑C calibre. As one of the smallest COSC-certified movements, it offers a 42‑hour power reserve.
The movement can be admired through the open case back, which carries the Alpine Eagle Foundation’s logo. This engraving highlights that a portion of the proceeds from the 36 mm model helps fund the Foundation’s activities supporting the preservation of the Alps.
