Chopard’s sporty Alpine Eagle collection welcomes a new model crafted in Lucent Steel™ and featuring a ‘Rhone Blue’ dial. Inspired by the beauty of the eagle’s natural habitat, this creation embody Chopard’s commitment to supporting the Alpine Eagle Foundation.
The dial’s colour is reminiscent of one of the most iconic rivers of the Alpine massif: the Rhone. This emblematic river begins its journey in natural blue tones within the Swiss glacier that bears its name, located in the heart of the canton of Valais—an environment home to several eagle species—before feeding the waters of Lake Geneva and eventually flowing into the Mediterranean Sea.
The radiant texture of the dial echoes the iris of an eagle, while Super LumiNova® coated hands and hour markers ensure perfect readability under all conditions.
The bezel is secured by eight indexed screws, an aesthetic and technical signature that also reinforces the watch’s 100 meter water resistance. The integrated bracelet, composed of a wide ingot shaped link topped with a polished central cap, extends the sporty yet refined character of the timepiece.
At the heart of this model beats an automatic movement developed and produced in-house, with precision certified by the Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).
The watch houses the Chopard 01.01 C calibre, offering a 60 hour power reserve. The movement can be admired through the open case back, which bears the Alpine Eagle Foundation’s logo. The latter signifies that a portion of the proceeds from these models contributes to funding the Foundation’s initiatives aimed at preserving the Alpine environment.
