Entirely developed, produced and assembled in the Chopard Fine Watchmaking workshops and launched for Chopard’s 150th anniversary in 2010, the L.U.C 05.01-L calibre is a concentration of watchmaking talents and the illustration of the cumulative expertise patiently acquired by the Chopard Manufacture since it was founded in 1996. This hand-wound micro-mechanical masterpiece, made up of 516 components, features two sets of two barrels (Chopard Quattro technology), which ensures a power reserve of a full week. It combines exceptional astronomical complications on both of its sides for a total of 14 complications. The tourbillon cage, equipped with a Phillips terminal curve hairspring, and its exclusive Variner balance wheel guarantee it a degree of precision confirmed by its chronometer certification, issued by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC). The exquisite care brought to its design and finishing, as well as the place where it was adjusted and assembled, enable it to bear the prestigious Poinçon de Genève.
