L.U.C Quattro Spirit Enso
Ref. Number:
161977-1006
Chopard’s emblematic jumping-hour movement equips three exclusive new editions of the L.U.C Quattro Spirit in ethical gold. Staging an encounter between East and West, the dial of these creations revisits symbols embedded in Japanese culture through Grand Feu enamel skills mastered by a specialised artisan within the Manufacture. The meticulous finishing of the L.U.C Quattro Spirit Enso, L.U.C Quattro Spirit Tattered Fan and L.U.C Quattro Spirit Meditating Daruma have earned them recognition symbolised by the Poinçon de Genève hallmark. Equipped with the four barrels characterising the exclusive Chopard Quattro technology offering an up to eight-day power reserve, L.U.C Calibre 98.06-L places these horological masterpieces among the rare jumping-hour watches endowed with such autonomy. The first series pays tribute to the ensō, the emblematic circle drawn in a single stroke as an act of meditation and mindfulness. This illustrates the beauty of the moment and the acceptance of imperfection through the balance between emptiness and fullness. At times fine and regular and at others broad and irregular, each ensō reflects the state of mind of the calligrapher at the moment of its creation and celebrates the diversity of meanings that this circle can convey: calm, energy, movement or emptiness.
