    Chopard now offers a shapely chronometer in ethical 18-karat rose gold set with baguette diamonds, crafted like an exceptional wine based on the finest Chopard watchmaking expertise. Ultra-fine, curvy and incredibly elegant, the L.U.C Heritage Grand Cru is one of the rare barrel-shaped watches with a self-wound movement, the L.U.C 97.01-L. It is a reference to the pocket watches designed by Louis-Ulysse Chopard in his time. Like an officially classified and certified grand cru, its excellent quality is recognized by the Geneva Seal, and its chronometric precision is attested by the COSC. Equipped with Chopard's Twin technology, it has a comfortable 65-hour power reserve. Unique in so many ways, the L.U.C Heritage Grand Cru is designed for the distinguished man who collects both great wines and exceptional timepieces: the true modern epicurean, the contemporary Chopard gentleman.

    Fully developed, produced and assembled in the Chopard Fine Watchmaking workshops, this COSC-certified chronometer, the self-wound L.U.C 97.01-L mechanical movement, is the first tonneau-shaped calibre developed by the Chopard Manufacture in 1997. It oscillates at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers a 65-hour power reserve thanks to Twin technology, a system invented by Chopard that combines two coaxial barrels and represents a particularly remarkable technical feat in light of the extreme slenderness of its 3.3 mm-thick movement. This movement is wound by a micro-rotor in 22-carat gold.
