The L.U.C XP Sakura by Night timepiece embodies an encounter between Swiss watchmaking excellence and the richness of Japanese culture. Inspired by a traditional Japanese theatre kimono, this creation pays tribute to the nocturnal contemplation of sakura (cherry blossoms) as symbols of ephemeral beauty. Its dial combines guilloché work, translucent lacquer, sculpted mother-of-pearl and openworked gold. It is enhanced with diamonds to create striking visual depth. The L.U.C 96.23-L movement, decorated using the traditional Fleurisanne engraving technique, reveals extreme refinement extending through to its white gold bridges and micro-rotor. With its ultra-thin architecture and 65-hour power reserve, this model – issued in a strictly limited eight-piece edition – reflects the philosophy of Chopard Manufacture: respect for finely honed skills, mastery of Artistic Crafts and the pursuit of perfection.
