Description

With the new L.U.C Flying T Twin timepiece, Chopard presents a new watch equipped with its flying tourbillon movement. As technical as it is aesthetically pleasing, it is also distinguished by its remarkable appearance: a blue dial in hand-guilloché gold, impeccable proportions and an ultra-thin case in ethical 18-carat white gold make this an exceptional addition to the L.U.C. collection. This extremely refined 50-piece limited series designed for contemporary gentlemen who are connoisseurs of fine watchmaking bears the 'Poinçon de Genève' quality hallmark and is chronometer-certified by the COSC.

Movement

Entirely developed, produced and assembled in Chopard's Haute Horlogerie workshops and chronometer-certified by the COSC, the L.U.C 96.24-L mechanical self-winding movement is the first automatic flying tourbillon calibre developed by Chopard Manufacture. It beats at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour (3.5 Hz) and has a 65-hour power reserve thanks to Twin technology, a system invented by Chopard that combines two coaxial barrels. The latter represent a particularly remarkable technical feat given the extreme thinness of the movement, which is just 3.3 mm thick. This movement bearing the 'Poinçon de Genève' quality hallmark is wound by means of a 22-carat gold micro-rotor.
