Description

L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25
Ref. Number: 161977-1001
A technical feat presented for the first time on the occasion of Chopard Manufacture's 25th anniversary, the L.U.C 98.06-L jumping-hour movement equips a new L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 timepiece in a 100-piece limited edition. The four barrels of the exclusive Chopard Quattro technology ensuring up to eight days of power reserve make this technically sophisticated model one of the rare jumping-hour watches to enjoy such autonomy. Featuring the L.U.C collection's characteristically pure linIts, its 40 mm-diameter case in Ethical 18-carat white gold frames a black Grand Feu enamel dial hand-crafted by Chopard Manufacture's enamel artisan. From movement to dial, this exceptional timepiece bears witness to the finest expertise and innovation cultivated by the artisans in the Maison's workshops, ensuring a high degree of finishing rewarded by the prestigious Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark.

L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25

Identity

A blend of heritage and modernity

In the midst of the 1990s, when traditional watchmaking was striving to recover from the sweeping influence of the quartz crisis, Chopard Co-President, Karl-Friedrich Scheufele created a workshop responsible for developing the first in-house calibre to pay tribute to the legacy of the Maison's founder, Louis-Ulysse Chopard. Named L.U.C 96.01-L, the automatic micro-rotor movement, versatile and unrivalled at the time, marked the birth of Chopard Manufacture and the L.U.C. luxury watch collection.
