Entirely developed, produced and assembled in the Chopard High Watchmaking workshops and launched for Chopard’s 150th anniversary in 2010, the L.U.C 05.01-L calibre is a concentration of watchmaking talents and the illustration of the cumulative expertise patiently acquired by the Chopard Manufacture since it was founded in 1996. This hand-wound micro-mechanical masterpiece, made up of 516 components, features two sets of two barrels (Chopard Quattro technology), which ensures a power reserve of a full week. It combines exceptional astronomical complications on both of its sides for a total of 14 complications. The tourbillon cage, equipped with a Phillips terminal curve hairspring, and its exclusive Variner balance wheel guarantee it a degree of precision confirmed by its chronometer certification, issued by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC).
