Happy Diamonds

In 1976, the workshops of the Maison were bursting with energy. Drawing on nature as an endless source of inspiration, they imagined diamonds that would reproduce the beauty of a cascade. The ‘Happy Diamonds’ concept was born, directly evoking the sparkling drops of a waterfall. Happier because they are free.

Design

Dancing diamonds

The heart of the Happy Diamonds ingenious concept is undoubtedly the woman wearing the Happy Diamonds Joaillerie watch and whom the engineers of the Maison sought to make the star of this enchanting show. Guided by her every move and bursting forth in the same cascading momentum, the feather-light dancing diamonds almost defy the laws of gravity in expressing their timeless Joie de Vivre.

“Little diamonds do great things.”

Identity

The legacy of Dancing Diamonds

By overturning watchmaking and luxury jewellery codes in the mid-1970s, Chopard accompanied the changes of an era marked by women's empowerment and the liberalisation of society. The Maison pays tribute to the victorious past that forged its identity.
