ALPINE EAGLE SPREADS ITS WINGS

Contemporary, refined and assertive, the new Alpine Eagle sports chic watch collection is a state-of-the-art reinterpretation of the St. Moritz, the first watch created in 1980 by Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, now co-president of Chopard. Imagined and personally designed by him, Alpine Eagle is driven by his passion for the Alps and by the lofty power of the eagle that reigns supreme there. Crafted from an exclusive, ultra-resistant and light-reflecting metal named Lucent Steel A223, it beats to the rhythm of a Chopard chronometer-certified movement. Bearing testament to Chopard's ethical approach, Alpine Eagle luxury sports watch gives the Maison an opportunity to reveal its new commitment to protecting the Alpine environment through the launch of the Eagle Wings Foundation – of which Karl-Friedrich Scheufele is a founding member. Alpine Eagle is dedicated to contemporary eagles, the aspiring men who outperform in their daily lives and whose vision inspires and elevates. With foresight and determination, they act on the challenges of tomorrow and are innately aware of the importance of environmental issues.

Alpine Eagle XL Chrono: A top-flight chronograph watch

The Alpine Eagle collection of sporty-chic watch spreads its wings, welcoming for the first time a flyback chronograph in a new 44 mm diameter case. Available in three versions – in Lucent Steel A223 with an Aletsch Blue or Pitch Black dial and a bi-material version combining Lucent Steel A223 and ethical rose gold with a Pitch Black dial – the Alpine Eagle XL Chrono men watch with integrated bracelet is, like the entire collection, very much inspired by the power of the eagle and the beauty of the Alps. Four patents testifying to its accuracy and user-friendliness have been filed for the Chopard 03.05-C mechanical movement with automatic movement and flyback function. From movement to case and from dial to bracelet, Alpine Eagle XL Chrono luxury watches are made entirely in Chopard's watchmaking ateliers, the work of Artisans paying tribute to Nature.
Chopard is unveiling three new models in the Alpine Eagle collection of watches with integrated bracelet, successfully launched in 2019: two in a Large format made of ethical rose gold, as well as a Small model in Lucent Steel A223, featuring a diamond-set bezel. From the chronometer-certified movement to the case, dial and bracelet, the Alpine Eagle luxury sports watches, inspired by the power of the eagle and the Alps, are entirely crafted in Chopard's watchmaking workshops by the Artisans of the Maison.

Alpine Eagle Large: precious and ethical

Two original models with a case and bracelet entirely crafted in 18-carat rose gold have been added to the Alpine Eagle Large line, measuring 41 mm in diameter, and previously offered in Lucent Steel A223 or bi-material versions. As a token of Chopard's commitment to responsible luxury, and like all the luxury watch and diamond jewellery creations emerging from its workshops since July 2018, these Alpine Eagle Large models are crafted from ethical gold.
Endowed with a 60-hour power reserve and a mechanical movement with automatic winding, the Chopard 01.01-C calibre – stemming from the research and expertise deployed by Chopard’s in-house Artisans – is chronometer-certified by the COSC. This is a guarantee of accuracy to which Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, Co-President of Chopard and creator of the Alpine Eagle men luxury watches collection, is deeply attached.

Alpine Eagle Small: pure and radiant

The range of Alpine Eagle Small luxury watches, measuring 36 mm in diameter, which until now included seven references in Lucent Steel A223, ethical gold or bi-material interpretations, also welcomes a new model in Lucent Steel A223 with an Aletsch Blue dial lit up by diamond setting on the bezel, equally suited to both masculine and feminine wrists.
Like all Alpine Eagle luxury sports watches, this new watch houses a Chopard mechanical movement with automatic winding chronometer-certified by the COSC: the Chopard 09.01-C calibre, endowed with a 42-hour power reserve.
