A regularity race for historic cars that passes through the unique landscapes of the most beautiful parts of Italy, there is no part of the 1000 Miglia that could be described as ‘easy’. Not least because the 1,000-mile event demands total concentration and physical resilience on behalf of the crews and – as far as the cars are concerned – sufficient mechanical durability to be driven hard for hours on end while remaining reliable.
