Description

Alpine Eagle 41 XP CS Gold
Ref. Number: 295396-5001
Continuing the direction set by the Alpine Eagle 41 XP CS Platinum launched in 2025—which paired an extra‑thin precious‑metal case with a Chronometer‑certified L.U.C movement—Chopard now unveils the Alpine Eagle 41 XP CS Gold. Crafted entirely from 18‑carat ethical rose gold—from the case to the bracelet, including the hour and minute hands—this 41-mm timepiece presents a refined and contemporary silhouette enhanced by a redesigned bracelet. Its dial features a warm “Shades of Wood” brown gradient, darkening toward the edges to evoke the concentric rings of a wooden cross‑section. This discreet reference recalls the ancient forests and traditional chalet woodwork that shape the Alpine landscape. The texture, inspired by the iris of an eagle, introduces a radiant interplay of light that enriches the watch’s palette of warm tones and reinforces its elegant character. Thanks to the exceptional thinness of the L.U.C 96.42‑L caliber, the watch achieves its streamlined 8-mm profile. Measuring only 3.30 mm in thickness, this automatic movement incorporates a 22‑carat gold micro‑rotor that efficiently winds two superposed barrels, enabled by Chopard’s Twin technology, delivering a 65‑hour power reserve. Chronometer‑certified (COSC), the caliber also features a stop‑seconds function and a swan‑neck adjustment system for precise regulation. Each component is meticulously hand‑finished, with polished, beveled, and decorated surfaces that meet the demanding criteria of the Poinçon de Genève. This hallmark guarantees exceptional craftsmanship for both the movement and the case. Its emblem—featuring Geneva’s coat of arms with a golden key and an eagle—appears on the caseback and movement bridge, subtly echoing the Alpine Eagle’s inspiration. The bracelet, also crafted from 18‑carat ethical rose gold, has been redesigned for a slimmer profile and enhanced ergonomics. The first five links taper more dramatically, while the final links near the clasp are narrower, heightening the watch’s overall finesse. This evolution is paired with a new comfort‑adjustment system integrated into the triple‑folding clasp: with a simple pull and press, the bracelet can extend by up to 5 mm, adapting instantly to temperature changes, wrist movement, or daily activity. This enhancement reflects Chopard’s ongoing pursuit of combining technical excellence with everyday comfort.
